A week since I moved. Already, I see the difference it makes. Living at Dad's I no longer dread going home. Not much conversation goes on during weekdays, but I take comfort in this peace. Traveling's inconvenient. I've real responsibilities now too. But after 12 years, we're under one roof and just 2 minutes away from my sister. Worthy trade-off. :)

A little story tonight

As I made my way to dinner earlier, I bumped into Daddy downstairs. We had our first 'squabble'. He asked, "Why are you dressed this way?" I am in a decent top and shorts. So I answered that I was going to the coffee shop whereby he raised his voice again. "At this hour? Mind you this isn't Yio Chu Kang, there are molest cases here every day!" And yeah you guessed it, he escorted me alll the way. I am now forbidden to walk that path alone. I argued how ridiculous because I do it often back in the other home. Then he made a bizarre comment, "Do you not understand how fair and petite you are? And you wear this kind of pyjamas. Now you're the easiest target on the street."

'Whoa what has fair and petite got to do with this...........', he shook his head sadly and sighed. Which also means end of debate. Haha this man cracks me up even while trying to make a point. His TLC always starts from getting agitated, to a funny expression of helplessness when we don't listen.

I'm quite offended though. It wasn't pyjamas.

"You can do anything you want. I won't control you unless it concerns the safety of my precious daughter."

SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST. Hehe love you Daddy. (;
