i remember A Knight's Tale, Casanova
his acclaimed performance in Brokeback Mountain...
and i also remember undeniably good looks that complement.

saw his face on the front papers last night
thinking it was either juicy gossip or features, we read.
& i couldn't digest those words screaming across the page.
plenty of articles reporting his departure
it makes me sink into this gloomy aftermath of news.
such is the unpredictability of life
mourning over the loss of a stranger someone.

he made an impact on everyone who's ever watched him.

he's Heath Ledger. (:

i don't know why this is bringing me down,
its just too untimely & shockingly tragic.
the saddest thing yet -- he left behind
a 2-year old daughter Matilda
whom he very much adored.

New Year Eve Countdown

11 days after the first day of New Year
i'm finally able to take time off projects
& reminisce last few moments of year 2007,
nothing short of powerrr-packed fun!

public holidays are shiokkk to the MAX!

Tart & I headed to Cine for yummy dinner.
then, rest of the night and morning after
we chilled our butts off at a most suitable pub- Chillz

the chaos outside Boat Quay alley.

met Clyde, Ivan& Hazel, 10 Bros Clique& co
heheh Hazel and I glued ourselves to one corner,
watching crazy little boys play pool, drinking games blah
so we decided to escape into own Girls' Noob 5-10-15.

had about an hour or so to bum around
before highlight of d night Countdown 2008!
there weren't flashy 321 works of any sort,
just groups of people well some high on alcohol
creating noise & joyous atmosphere to welcome
the brand new year, together. :)

Chillz prepared some ugly party props hurh.

12 am there were people running mad in& out
spraying foam and poppin' poppers everywhere,
hey ho its a cheap culture in Singapore now.
as soon as it turned 08, nothing much to elaborate..
just routine Drink Drank Drunkss.

after leaving him alone for a bit
(or rather poor Hazel & I were neglected haha),
my Boyfriend didn't look the same color anymore.

Elyn celebrated at It's Raining pub nearby too
so she dropped by for early wishes & pulled us over
for more more more Martell to finish up...
apparently she opened 2 bottles with 3 other friends!

her drinking stamina is like wayyy up there
and mine?! mine's a freak'g three glasses goner.

i like that carefree personality :)
makes her a comfy person to hang out with.
you know most girls they meet you for the first time,
its usually a hostile "stare-down" scenarios, damn wth.
and she's one of those few exceptions.
caught up a little, drank a lot a lot
and we (Baby & I) left her table back to Chillz...
where we were greeted by

"OMG YOU TWO DAMN BLOODY RED LAH!"

an overdose of my Sweet Tart!!
whenever I got drunk beyond clear-headed in the past
i've always relied on friends to get me home safely.
but drinking alongside Baby is a different experience
i dare to challenge the alcohol limit in me further...
knowing full well i'll have a proper shoulder to lie on
when the effects of too much liquor sets in. HEHHE

New Year's Day was short & simple

O sheesh school life pales in comparison.
anyways i finally went for facial at BF today!
after months of procrastinating. hurhur
i was exhausted to the extent i fell asleep there
TWO WHOLE HOURS, with blankets. (:
& my beautician Vanessa has flawless complexion.

This Chao granny customer who came out halfway,
(wrapped in pink towel only, don't imagine)
yelling & complaining at the top of her voice

"Hey why do you leave me in there
& Just anyhow stick a piece of paper on my face
while you stand outside talking to others (referring to me)
and I think tht piece of paper I feel no treatment at all!
This cannot do, you know I am a very busy woman
& you are wasting my time!"

Firstly, Vanessa came out only so I could make payment,
and that Chao old woman was in there for less than 10.

Secondly, that piece of paper she kept hollering about
everyone knows it a fucking Mask which you gt to leave on
for it to have effects to remove your freckles Missy.

Thirdly, you cannot 'feel' treatment instantly.
she was making a complete scene out of nothing
& when Vanessa hurriedly followed her in,
i still heard her screaming her lungs off when i left.
#$%@!? trust me her face spells DRAMA-MAMA.

its a Friday
but I've got a compulsory talk tomorrow
at 9 am. how sweet of Ngee Ann.

& he's fallen asleep right under my nose! heheh
i am also choking myself on Vanhouten chocolates
one after another as though they were potato chips.

Tuesday 2512/2007

Christmas Day this year was simple,
woke up in the evening after a late night Eve.
pillow talks with Tart & online-d a while
before making our way down to Cine hoho.

i rarely camwhore self-shots, forgive please.

then we must double check again.

anyways we bought tickets for I Am Legend
and settled ourselves at Suki Sushi till midnight.
heheh Baby treated me to many plates & rice bowl too
thumbs up to an excellent job of feeding me fat!
i don't mind gaining say 1kg or so, its total pleasure feasting
with the lovely one. :]

while waiting for our food to be served,
it became freezing cold and i started to bully poor Baby.
that sweetheart handed over his comfy thick jacket
all willing, even though himself had more reason to shiver!
shame on me man. :(

blame the slow service, Visuals created!

i heart Sushi-Time with him. :D
it was a highly anticipated Xmas dinner!!
HAHA we proudly exited the restaurant later on
with matching bulging tummies.
cool, and mine was definitely the winner.

while strolling ard aimlessly after,
we coincidentally bumped into my BigSis! :)

i so dig the way she wore her outfit tht day
i dig her grey-white scarf. loves!

now that Christmas is long over,
yet writing this entry is making me reminisce all over
how special December'07 has been to me.
no extraordinary plans, no WOW parties, no big big gifts
just quiet moments with Baby (:(:
watching the rest of the world hype up.

a day before NYE,
we accompanied Deardear in town to dye her hair!
ROFL she sat there in the same chair for more than 4 hours
- straight. i offered to buy her drinks& food, she don't want.

after a mistake lunch Tart & i combed the entire place
for hours up& down, pacing through the same shops,
going back to the Salon, repeatedly coming out
hoping to find interesting stuffs to do, anddd finally
Baby was thoroughly exhausted.
we retreated to sit down at some fire-exit staircase!
sorry & very appreciated. :)

now that New Year 2008 is here,

everyone's setting resolutions & what not.

i haven't thought of mine
but anyways they're hard to follow
so i'll just hope for a better 365 days to come!!

reflections 2007 ?
been a not-too-rotten nor exceptionally good one.
life is just life which to me, can't actually be judged.

1. I've kept intact friendships I treasure much.
2. Made few acquaintances to a step closer.
3. Family is apart but - still family in a way.
4. I've sucked at school as usual. Will keep going though.
5. Cash seems to go quicker than it comes.
6. BigSister is role model, we'd always be close.
7. Met my Boyfriend on V-Day
& realized a form of happiness called bliss. (:

Monday 2412/2007

headed over to Junction8 late afternoon
for last-minute X'mas shopping with Tart.
bought presents for Poppy & Aunt *
before attending the BBQ session at night.

gosh i'm starting to resemble an exact copy of Poppy.

met up with BigSis, and Chelly too! (:
we all marched up Pei Shan's house after dinner
to visit her newly-borned baby Zenden.
one week old and and he's superrrrr adorable!
we couldn't stop Ooh-ing & Awww-ing at him haha.
