Jealousy imo, is one of the worse emotion. It brings about negative thoughts and perhaps, actions. I have always consciously barred myself against the feeling of jealousy. Until recently.
But as I was bashing myself, Elyn pointed out to me that 'to be jealous' is actually human and natural. Because as long as we have loved... we will be afraid to lose. If it isn't about losing, to see someone else where you wanted to be makes it not okay, too.
Jealousy is rightfully a part of love and love is never truly love without this element. That said, we should never let it consume us. Just once in a while, I think I can afford to be human.
