Happy Birthday Part (III)
Belated but we had to wait till February's done! Every year Ivy and I celebrate our birthdays together, one after another. It's been such a blessing to have found a friend like her. Outwardly we're quite different, but underlying it all there are so many similarities that drown the differences. Every February we take more pictures than usual. OK here goes:

I am really not someone to remember birthdays. I think I have less than ten dates stored in my memory bank. I am terribly bad at buying presents. As it is.... I don't enjoy shopping much. Shopping around with stress is worse. But for the few whom matter I find myself wanting to source out meaningful gifts or put in time to decorate/make a card. I used to love drawing. Years ago I would draw at any opportunity. I've somehow lost the enthusiasm. I rarely open the box of markers now unless I see a purpose worthwhile. Worthwhile – not as in what I may get in reciprocation. Worthwhile – the contentment that comes with making their day and seeing them smile. When I saw Ivy smile from cheek to cheek, being happy like that, I knew it was all worthwhile. I was truly happy too!

Like I've posted on Instagram, once in a blue moon we meet forever. Hello again Honey!! I hope you had fun that day and I hope you had fun saving these photos. I never really refer to anyone as my best friend. Everyone's just good, really good or superduper good. Thanks for showing me the possibility in forever. That human beings weren't all made to pass each other by, and then grow apart. Thank you for sticking by me since we 'targeted' each other at first sight in Ngee Ann. Thank you for standing by my decisions - stupid or wise - for never wanting me to be anything other than me.
