sometimes people crack jokes that run a lil too far,
i wonder....
do i have to be feisty and on a defensive?
if i merely keep quiet or laugh it off
does it show them i am speechless without a smart retort?

academically i might not be on par
due to what myself ascertain of as low motivation,
(everyone talks about a Degree these days)
but i am definitely not underneath your intelligence.
my big D certificate will come, although later;
meanwhile i am pursuing my passion with great interest
so must it necessarily tally along your life ideals
in order for you all to think in my shoes?
i know when & how to pick up the pace in the near future.
